Happy Anniversary, Sprouts!

It is our 8-year anniversary today. We have a batch of some quality-of-life updates ready! We hope you enjoy these new features.  

 

Magic Shop

A few months ago, we changed how sidekicks are unlocked and how they are present in the character's inventory. Until today's update, Magic Familiars were bugged and still giving rewards even if they were not activated. This has been patched. The old way to activate sidekicks was for the users to go through the Eather Forge, which requires the Eather Beast Class to be completed. No more! 

We have added the Magic Shop and this shop has no pre-requisite to use. Its current purpose is to give users access to Chronopod charges, sidekick activation, and sidekick exchanges without needing to go through extra steps. We intend to keep the Magic Shop as a permanent fixture of the ARPG. It is just making its debut earlier than we expected! Please enjoy this new shop and its contents.

Shop Changes

We have added a new feature to the shops! We can now add more than one way to buy an item. On items where this is an option, there will be two arrow buttons on either side of the item listing. These buttons will allow users to toggle between the listings for that item. Currently, you need to flip through the possible purchases to find the exact exchange. This is clunky, but because of it, we can now refund incorrect love items and status berry vouchers here: Voucher Exchanges. This is just an early form of this feature! We will make it more intuitive as we proceed.

Bug

- Fixed visual bug where Treasure Hunt calculated too many available slots.
- Fixed bug where declination reason could overflow the submission box on love approval and approval system submissions.
- Fixed the bug where Magic Familiars gave bonuses without Familiars being activated.

Changes

- Split Masterlist subtype advanced search into two fields for main and hybrid subtypes
- Pending character images can now be canceled by the character's owner.
- Made it possible to select which image slot the image is put into when making submissions in the Love Item Approval.
- Changed character cosmetic unlocking to allow unlocking multiple cosmetics at the same time
- All trades on site that were older than 2023 have been canceled.
- Chronopod charges have moved from Eather Forge to the Magic Shop.
- Sidekick activation has moved from the Eather Forge to the Magic Shop.

 

Addition

- Added Magic Shop to Market. 
- The history section is on the Void Well page.
- Items can now be purchased using multiple currencies.
- Added combined submission history on approval hub pages when no approval is selected.
- Added user setting that only allows users to see the "Open" container button when in edit mode. 
- Added user settings that make it possible for them to prevent other users from seeing their dashboard page. Only Admin and mods can see private profiles. 
- Added the ability to exchange magic familiars, eather beasts and Elemental Totem Sidekicks back into their respective bundles in the Magic Shop.
-Added the ability to exchange love items back into vouchers in the V mart Voucher Exchanges aisle.
