Our team will be taking a full break during July. During this time, the following will be processed. Users should not expect replies during the break; the only exception will be extreme or urgent situations that require immediate attention.

On July 1st, we will ensure that all pending approvals, porting requests, questions, and support tickets submitted before the break began are processed throughout the day.

The Golden Voyage Extension and Details - Live
Due to an oversight on our part, The Golden Voyage has been extended to August 7th and will remain open for submissions for July. We did not include an end date on the Activity page, and our previous dev log did not clearly communicate when the activity would end.

If you want the retiring Achievement "The Ultimate Merge" after July 1st, it will not unlock without a moderator manually unlocking it via Tickets. Please open a Help Desk ticket under Golden Hybrid Fruit Character Creation & "The Ultimate Merge." We will start approving these submissions on August 1st. We will manually unlock the achievement for you and create a character for you using the old hybrid, the Hybrid/Golden Hybrid Fruit process/method.


Freezing LV and LP - Live
We accomplished our goal, and the market has stabilized enough that we no longer feel price fluctuation is necessary.

As a result, we will remove monthly price fluctuations and keep the price fixed. We're really happy that this experiment was successful and that the market has regulated naturally.

If the market becomes unstable again, we may reintroduce market pricing. For now, though, we're excited to remove it.

As promised, we said we were lowering prices on the following items:

New Use for Golden Hybrid Fruit - Live
The Golden Hybrid Fruit now adds subtypes to existing characters.

The new use for the Golden Hybrid Fruit is here, and you can add unlimited new subtypes by using multiple Golden Hybrid Fruits.

An "Add Subtype" button has been added to the Character Masterlists. It is located on the character page, accessible in Edit Mode; here users can add subtypes to their characters.

Item Refund
When the Golden Hybrid Fruit is updated, all Golden Hybrid Fruits that have been used up to that point will be refunded. Refunds will begin as soon as this dev log goes live and will be manually credited throughout the break.

Exceptions and Special Cases
This item does not work on the Mascots Maze and Haze.

It is possible to add the Sponge subtype to a Suba using a Golden Hybrid Fruit. We recognize the significant effort many users put into obtaining the Sponge subtype and want to preserve the value of that achievement.

For that reason, if you add the Sponge subtype to an existing Suba, you may not remove its original subtypes to create a true Sponge. The original subtypes are permanently retained due to Void Corruption. It can never become a true Sponge Suba.

New True Sponge Suba Achievement - Coming Soon
Because the Sponge subtype can now be added using a Golden Hybrid Fruit, we wanted to preserve recognition for users who earn a true Sponge Suba through the original 100 LP method.

Users who create a true Sponge Suba by earning 100 LP will receive an exclusive trophy achievement, along with a matching user verification icon to recognize this accomplishment.

New Item - Subtype Reversal Biscuit
A new item that allows users to remove extra subtypes from a character, leaving one subtype remaining.

- 1 Subtype Biscuit removes 1 subtype.
- Multiple biscuits may be used if multiple subtypes need removal.
- A character must always retain at least one subtype.

Exception: Characters with the Sponge Suba subtype cannot have any subtypes removed.

Orm Subtype Tier Addition - Live
Due to community feedback, we have decided to give orms subtype tiers. All orms are subtype tier 4.


Weekly Changes - Live
Weekly Companion Bonus has been increased to 500 Gold Coins.


Free Guardian Subtype Conversion - Live
When Space Guardians were released, we overlooked offering a free subtype conversion for Sky Guardians and Celestial Guardians that were created before they were added to Griffia.

This applies to Guardian 1 through Guardian 137.

If you previously used Subtype Fruits to convert one of these Guardians into a Space Guardian subtype, we will refund those Subtype Fruits and make that change free.

If you would like to take advantage of this free subtype conversion, you may request it at any time by opening a ticket under Help Desk > General Concerns.

Please note that this subtype conversion is permanent and cannot be reversed through the Help Desk once applied.

Discord - No Wishlist Advertisements - Live
We added an additional rule to Discord after community feedback.

Advertisements may only contain characters, items, goods, or services that you currently own or are authorized to advertise.

Wishlist, dream-list, and "in search of" advertisements are not permitted unless the advertised character or item has been publicly listed by its owner as available for trade, sale, or offers.

This policy helps respect owner boundaries and reduces unwanted contact regarding characters and items that are not available.


Rule 3.6 Themes - Basics - Live
We have added a formal explanation that all Griffolk other than Bagbeans can have themes with different spellings or different languages, because it got lost during many updates

Based on your feedback, we've decided to make alternate spellings much more flexible for users and easier for our team to review and approve.

All Griffolk, except Bagbeans (unless they have the subtype Rebel and Field), can use the same naming theme, provided the names are written differently, even if they are the same Species. This includes extra/excluded letters, spacing, and symbols.

Examples: Wolf, Wolff, Canis Lupus, CanisLupus, Canis-Lupus, Ulv, Wulf, Varg, Lupe, W olf, Wo-lf, Wol f.

Updated Masterlist Search - Live
The search feature on the masterlist page has been updated, and a new Search information area has been added to explain how the search functions.

Special search operators are currently available only in the Subtype field:

- ! include/select a subtype 
- exclude/remove a subtype

These operators do not currently work in the Modifier search field. If this functionality is in high demand, we may add it to more fields in a future update.

Search Function, Navigation Hub & Header Update - Live Alpha
Users might notice that our header has updated to include two new icons. The Triangle and the Diamond.

Square - Activates Edit Mode
Triangle - Activates Search Mode
Diamond - TBA Live Event: easy-click button.
Circle - User Settings/Profile

We've added a new search feature/page to the site, currently available in Alpha. During this testing phase, some search results may be incomplete or behave unexpectedly.

Navigation Hub - Coming Soon
This page will contain links to all pages in one place, so users can find information by tab titles without having to hunt for it.

Addition

Changes
- Fixed minor typos on TCL page
- Users can now change the subtypes on their CYO characters
- Replaced "Main Subtype" and "Hybrid Subtypes" masterlist search fields with "Subtype" and "Subtype Count".
- Removed all subtype categories that aren't tied to a single species on the themes page on the system tab.
- Characters with multiple subtypes now appear in all those categories on the themes page on the system tab.


Removal
-Removed golden hybrid fruit from love item approval; it now costs 1 hybrid fruit for every additional subtype after 1. The maximum is 5.

- Love item approval no longer awards the "The Ultimate Merge" Achievement. "The Ultimate Merge" achievement moved to the trophy tab.

Bugs
- Fixed bug where users could be charged for unlocking already unlocked character cosmetics because of lag
