Hello, Sprouts!

The Dragon Migration event has officially ended! Dragon Coins are now transferable, spendable, and can be voided. They hold significant value in the Void Well but are also usable in the still under construction Chrono-Cafe, so be sure to use them wisely. We hope everyone enjoyed the event!
On another note, two of our admins fell ill, which has caused some delays. We appreciate your understanding as we work to catch up.


Mascot Theme Redemption in Hollowbean - Coming Oct 7th - IMPORTANT
The next event will include the Free Mascot Theme Redemption. We understand that users are often anxious about missing out on themes, so we are releasing information a week in advance to help everyone prepare. Here’s how it will work:

- Each week, a comment will be opened with specific entry criteria for Mascots.
- Users will be able to edit their comments throughout the week.
- This system reduces competition and prevents users from picking the same theme.

If multiple users select the same theme, they will be placed on a numbered list, and an RNG (random number generator) will determine the winner. Users who do not win must wait until the following week's theme opening to choose a new theme.

Additional Information:
All mascots will receive a free Mascot Theme Biscuit, even if users miss the opportunity or are inactive during the event. Users who participate will still receive the item, so there is no need to rush.

Mascots made after October 7th are ineligible to use the theme change during the event. If you miss creating a Mascot by the 7th, you must wait for the distribution of the Mascot Theme Biscuits. 

Important:
Do not message other users asking them to change their choices or bribe them to do so. This process does not need to be stressful; we expect everyone to be kind and understanding. If anyone does this to you, please report them to Griffiabot. We will not tolerate harassment, guilt trips, or bribery of others during this process; depending on the severity, you could be banned from Discord or the group. It is not worth it. 

Rules:
- Mascots must be ported.
- Only one mascot can claim a single theme.
Example: If a Maze claims the theme "Hotdog," then "Hotdog" is no longer available for Haze.

Weekly Entry Criteria:
- Week 1 (7th - 13th Oct):
- Mascots made before June 27th, 2024
- At least 5 Trials completed
- At least 5 Tokens completed (1 Token Set = 5 Tokens)
- At least 2 Scrolls

Week 2 (14th - 20th Oct):
- Mascots made before October 2024
- Starter Trial completed
- 1 Class completed

Week 3 (21st - 31st Oct):
- Any remaining Mascots made before the event

 

Chrono-Cafe is now Open - Today
The Quest’s Backpack scavenger hunt has ended, and the item’s price has increased significantly to 500 GC. However, you can now find the Chrono-Café.

Although the shop is still undergoing maintenance, it offers the event-exclusive Dragon Chronopod, which is available for purchase using Dragon Coins earned during Dragon Migration. If users missed out on these event-exclusive Chronopods from previous events, they now have the chance to obtain them. Additionally, Dragon Coins can be thrown into the Void Well for a hefty amount of GC.

Once fully completed, the Chrono-Café will be available in the market.


Love Voucher Additions & Changes - Today
In a previous update, we mentioned that we would be sunsetting the use of Love Items in favor of Love Vouchers while keeping them as collectibles. Today, we have implemented that change: users only need the appropriate amount of Love Vouchers to redeem a Griffolk, and Love Items have become Collectibles. 

In line with this update, we have decided that some previously unattainable Griffolk will finally receive tiers and become redeemable for users. We hope you enjoy these much-requested changes!

Discord Ad Policy Update - Today
We are removing a rule regarding Discord ads. Previously, the rule prohibited users from cross-posting ads in the three available market channels. This rule has proven difficult to enforce and can confuse users who want to offer a mix of services and goods.

The new policy will be: 
Ads can be posted in each market channel for a total of three per 24 hours as long as they meet the requirements for each channel.

Future Token Prize Removal and Change - Coming
The achievement system is currently being finalized. When we convert tokens into achievements, we will remove them as items and eliminate the rewards previously associated with completing them.

This update will allow us to separate the tokens from their bundles so they won’t all need to be completed simultaneously. It will also enable Open Species to participate again since there will no longer be a pool of items for endless profit.

We understand that users may be disappointed to see these prizes go, but these changes are designed to improve the Treasure Hunt experience. Tokens will be the primary method for unlocking slots in the Treasure Hunt activity, where you can find items. This shift ensures that Tokens, Trials, and Classes will only award achievements and potentially unlock gear and forms, while games and activities will focus on awarding GC and items.

- Winflower Smol and Smol have been removed from The Winning Flower activity.
